From October 22 to October 26, 2018, training courses on the topic “Combining data from various sources and modules” were held for national statistical services in Tbilisi (Georgia). Courses are organized by the European Free Trade Association.

Husanova, Head of the Division of Classifier and Metadata Management, Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Works, and Head of the Statistics Department of Navoi Region M. Ruziev took part in this event from the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Statistics

The training courses were attended by experts from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine, as well as experts from the statistical office of Norway.

Training was conducted on the following topics: the life cycle of integrated statistical data and sources of error; similarities and differences between data sources and data mods; the main elements of the methodology for the study of a mode of mixed type: sampling, the development of a questionnaire, the conduct of research and conclusion; examples of statistics based on a combination of sources; statistical use of administrative data: trends and future, etc.
