On may 20-22 of this year, in cooperation with the Statistics Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States, G.V.The international student Olympiad in statistics was held at the Plekhanov Russian University of economics as part of the “III International Student statistical festival”.
A total of 13 teams from 7 CIS countries participated in this Olympiad. 2 teams of Tashkent State University of Economics from Uzbekistan also took part in it.
Joyfully, the team of the Tashkent State University of Economics ranked 3rd in the team competition, and in the singles, 3rd-year student Usmanova Madina Botir qizi took the proud 2nd place.
We remind you that on May 21-23, 2024, the International Student Olympiad in Statistics was held at the G.V. Plekhanov Russian University of Economics in Moscow as part of the "II International Student Statistics Festival" organized by the CIS Statistics Committee.
Two teams from Tashkent State University of Economics in Uzbekistan participated in it and emerged victorious in the categories "Creative approach in scientific research" and "Competent use of statistical instruments."
The main objectives of this event are to develop qualified personnel for the field, further strengthen the status of statistics, and enhance international student scientific cooperation, as well as to establish collaboration with universities and research institutes of other countries in the field of statistics within the framework of the festival.
