In recent years, our country has been implementing a number of reforms to develop domestic tourism. In meetings held by the President, expanding the potential of domestic tourism, increasing interest in our historical monuments and cultural heritage, and growing the number of local tourists were identified as important tasks. Notably, during a video conference meeting chaired by the head of our state on further enhancing the tourism potential of the regions and accelerating investment projects implemented with foreign partners, it was announced that one Saturday and Sunday of each month would be declared a day for "traveling with family and work colleagues."
In this regard, on April 26 of this year, at the initiative of the Trade Union of the National Statistics Committee, a trip to the Aksaray complex was organized with the participation of employees from the Committee's central office and regional statistical offices.
During the visit, participants became closely acquainted with the rich heritage of our historical figures, the architectural monument of Aksaray, and its rare exhibits.
Such events play an important role in meaningfully organizing employees' leisure time, fostering a healthy national consciousness in society, preserving our historical heritage, and passing it on flawlessly to future generations.
