On February 12 of this year, a round table was organized at the Samarkand Institute of Economics and Service with the participation of students of the institute and specialists of the statistics department of the Samarkand region.
The event was attended by the Deputy Head of the Statistics Department of the Samarkand Region M. Salimov, the Head of the Department for the Organization and Conduct of Census Processes F. Shukurov, employees of the department, as well as teachers and students of the institute.
During the round table, detailed information was presented on the organizational and methodological principles of the population census, software and hardware and technological processes for data processing, the experience of foreign countries and the work done to date, as well as the tasks that need to be completed in the future. In addition, issues of preparation for the event, regulatory documents, laws and regulations adopted in this regard, as well as the work done and planned for their implementation were discussed.
The round table was held with active discussions and debates. At the end of the event, the experts answered in detail the questions that interested the students.
