On December 11, 2024, the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a presentation on the results of the seminar "Production of statistics based on metadata," which took place on December 3-5 in Belgrade (Serbia). The seminar was organized by the CIS Statistics Committee, the UN Economic Commission for Europe, the European Free Trade Association, and the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia.
During the presentation, Zulkhumor Talipova, Head of the Development and Human Resources Management Department, and Shahboz Janadilov, Head of the Information and Cyber Security Department of the Statistics Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who participated in the seminar, shared their experience in implementing the metadata-based system with agency employees. They discussed its advantages, challenges encountered during implementation, and ways to address them.
The event also included an exchange of views on the topic, and detailed answers were provided to questions raised by the participants.
