Today, on October 29, the Statistics Agency held an extended Board meeting dedicated to the results of the 3rd quarter of 2024. It was attended by the leadership of the Statistical Agency, the heads of the central apparatus departments and their deputies, as well as the employees of the regional statistical departments through remote video communication.
The meeting was opened by the director of the Statistics Agency Bahadir Begalov Abdusalomovich, who spoke about the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the government to the agency and the analysis of the work done in the third quarter of 2024.
As part of the issues on the agenda, the heads of the central apparatus departments critically analyzed the achievements and identified shortcomings during the quarter. Also, a report on the implementation of the tasks specified in the decision of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 4, 2024 "On measures to organize the activities of the Statistical Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan" was given.
The meeting discussed the development of statistical indicators reflecting the socio-economic status of districts and cities. The Director of the Statistics Agency gave special instructions to the employees regarding the aspects that need to be paid attention to in the process of formation and analysis of socio-economic indicators of the regions. It was emphasized that the districts and cities should update the tables reflecting their macroeconomic indicators in a timely manner.
At the end of the extended Board meeting, executive discipline and organizational issues were considered, decisions were made to take appropriate measures against employees who did not perform their duties on time, and to encourage employees who performed their work in an exemplary way.
