In order to study the experience of the Singaporean state in the introduction of modern digital technologies and artificial intelligence, a study tour was organized on October 20-25, 2024.
The event was attended by the head of the Department for the Development of Digital Technologies and interactive Services of the Agency of Statistics under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh. Odilov and responsible employees were also present.
During the trip, they were familiarized with the work done in Singapore on the introduction of modern digital technologies and artificial Intelligence.
In particular, the responsible staff of the Statistics Office of Singapore provided information on the use of machine learning models for processing large amounts of data in the State of Singapore, the SingStat table information system designed to visually present statistical information, as well as on the work done on the introduction of web scraping and artificial intelligence in the collection of price data.
At the same time, members of the delegation made reports on the results achieved by the statistics agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Also during the trip, among other things, an exchange of views was held on new trends in the dissemination of statistical information and the practice of using information systems in the population census process, data management needs, technical measures and methodological possibilities were studied, as well as issues of implementation into the national statistical system were considered.
