According to the results of January-June 2024, the gross value added created in the accommodation and food services sector amounted to 5.1 trillion soums. This indicator increased by 9.6% compared to January-June 2023.
The contribution of the accommodation and food services sector to GDP growth was 0.1 percentage points.
The share of the accommodation and food services sector in GDP reached 0.9%.
The highest share of gross regional product in this sector was observed in Tashkent city (2.8%) and Samarkand region (1.1%).
