As previously reported, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the United Nations Population Fund organized the 2024 Census Week: Workshop and Expert Group Meeting on Population and Housing Censuses from 30 September to 4 October 2024 in Geneva, Switzerland.

A presentation on the results of this workshop and expert group meeting organized in Geneva was held at the statistical agency on 16 October 2024.

The workshop was attended by staff from Department of Organization and Conducting of Census Processes, Department of Agricultural and Ecology, Statistics Department of Organization and Methodology of Statistical Works, and Department of International Cooperation and Data Exchange.

At the event, the Head of the Department for the Organization and Conduct of Census Processes K. Berdikulov and the Deputy Head of the Department for the Organization and Conduct of Census Processes Sh. Dusnaev provided detailed information on the knowledge and skills acquired at the "2024 Population Census Week: Population and the Importance of Using Administrative Data in the Country", in particular, they spoke in detail about the importance of using administrative data in preparing and conducting the population and housing census, about the use of modern methods for publishing the census results, as well as about the recommendations developed by target groups for the 2030 census and plans for preparing for the 2030 census round.
